Melanie Quentin seldom receives in his workshop. It is acted in fact of an old arranged garage.
"It is an isolated place, calm, where I find myself vis-a-vis with myself, where all my interior life takes force."
Surrounded of the original models of its sculptures, at the medium of a disorder of stones, bags of ground, tools various and sketch, Melanie Quentin puts itself at works.
"I am with the search of the beauty, the life, the love."
A finished sculpture, it is an idea which succeeded. I feel alleviated. Then the ideas, the forms, abound again. One never finished. To carve is a search. With each time one believes to have found, one realizes that something hides still behind. Then, I start again ! |
